From start to finish, the process of purchasing a pup from you has been a pleasurable and very easy process.  It was exciting to know that you were willing to ship Miss Leah for us from Iowa to Connecticut.  She arrived, just as cute as the pictures, in her crate with papers and food taped securely to it and let’s not forget her  favorite toy, “the shoe with arms and legs” close by her side.  She arrived very clean and very happy!  She had loads of energy from such a trip but was just a peach on the ride home.


We brought her to the vet the very next day, only to find out that she was a PERFECTLY HEALTHY and BEAUTIFUL Newfie pup….everyone there fell in absolute love with her. 

Miss Leah came to us at 8 weeks and is growing quickly.  She isn’t thrilled about the crate but “pad training” with her was pretty easy.  In only a couple weeks, Miss Leah will most always head to the door and sit patiently. 

She is a great addition to our family, as our teenaged children are just thrilled to have her around and the grandchildren are so happy to have someone to romp around in the yard with!  Miss Leah loves bath time and is very curious about the swimming pool.  She’s been in it already and loves it. 

We would definitely recommend you to anyone who is looking to purchase a Newfie.   And should the occasion come when we want/need a new pup, we will be sure to look you up!

We had been searching Iowa for a Cavalier King Charles for about 6 months when I came across Brenda's website and I immediately had a good feeling about it. We were looking for a female and were able to put a deposit on one when she was a week or two old. In that time, Brenda was always very prompt in responding to emails, emailing pictures once a week, and answering any questions. She also encouraged us to visit (which we did) and we were very happy with their living conditions-Brenda is just as wonderful in person as she was through email. We have now had our puppy (Stella) for 2 weeks. She is so sweet and playful as can be. She loves meeting new people and pups and being outside. We look forward to lots of fun and memories with her. We are very happy with Rocky. He has been everything we expected and had read about that the breed could be. Very easy and quick to learn & Train. He picked up on house breaking instantly. I bought a boxer puppy from Brenda in December of 2009 and I can't be any happier! She has a wonderful temperament and a great personality! She is very friendly, loves children, and behaves very well.  She’s everything we were wishing for in a puppy. It’s obvious that she was well socialized and cared for from the beginning of her life. My vet was also very impressed by her. She was up to date on all of her shots, in very good health, and a perfect height and weight for her age. Brenda was also very easy to communicate with, she answered all my questions and concerns and still keeps in contact even after we bought her. She even met me half-way to pick up my puppy. I purchased my Cavapoo, Maycee, from Butler Charcoal Ridge in May of 2009.  I was very impressed during my first contact with Brenda, and have continued to be even after Maycee has come to my home in Urbandale, Iowa.  Brenda was very knowledgeable regarding the puppies, and was able to answer any and all of the questions I had.    I was a first-time puppy purchaser, and she was very helpful.  She always made herself available to speak with me, and was very flexible in terms of me making trips down to Albia to meet Maycee and to pick her up to take her home.

Upon visiting Butler Charcoal Ridge, I was delighted with the living situation for the dogs and could tell that Brenda and her family showed impeccable care for them all.  I was very pleased that my puppy was in a comfortable and clean living situation, and that she was well socialized with all different types and sizes of people and animals. 

While waiting for Maycee to get older so that she could come home with me, Brenda always kept in touch, sent me updated photos, and kept me posted on routine vet visits.  Even after bringing Maycee home, Brenda has continually checked in on how we are doing.

I recently purchased a cavapoo puppy from Brenda Butler, of Butler's Charcoal Ridge. I began searching websites for my new puppy, and was concerned that I was unable to locate a cavapoo within driving distance of our home in Rhode Island. How would I select a puppy, without seeing the litter?  And, how would I know the puppy was being well cared for? Brenda alleviated all my concerns. She provided regular updates and photos of the litter as a whole, and my particular puppy once I had made a choice. She provided me with the name and telephone number of her vet, whom I spoke with and who assured me that she had seen the puppies, and they were well cared for and healthy. Brenda arranged for the transport of my puppy, sent extra food, and sent documents regarding vaccinations. Finally, within 30 minutes of the puppy's arrival, she called to make sure my puppy had arrived safely and was in hand. I bought my puppy from the Butlers in November.  I couldn't have asked for a better puppy, he is perfect.  I could see instantly that he came from a family that gave him a lot of love.  The Butlers take great care in raising their puppies, including taking them for regular check-ups, and keeping them up to date with shots and wormer.  Brenda sent me pictures from the time I contacted her to the time I picked my little boy up.  She drove to meet me and gave me a lot of things to get started with my puppy.  The Butlers are very nice people.  I was very lucky to find them and to have the pleasure of doing business with them.

I just wanted to let you know we made it home safe and sound.  I also wanted to thank you so much for making my first puppy buying experience a smooth and memorable one!  Even though I didn't visit your ranch to pick up Riley, I could immediately tell that you and your family had provided a loving and nurturing environment for him.  He loves to cuddle and be held-he just has the sweetest personality!  I'm so glad I happened to stumble upon your website while looking for a puppy.  Thanks also for providing me with a very accurate description of what Riley looked like and what his disposition was like.  I was nervous purchasing a puppy I had not met yet, but am such a happy and proud puppy owner now.  And lastly, thanks for being so helpful and prompt when responding to all my emails.  I will certainly recommend you to people I know and would be happy to talk to anyone who is considering purchasing a puppy from you.  You can certainly give prospective buyers my email address to contact me.
